There is a moment and every international patient knows it when the decision has been made, the research is done, and what remains is the weight of the unknown. Who will be there. What happens if something changes. Whether the person on the other end of the phone actually knows your case.

Pilar Díaz built The Health Traveler Consultant because she understood that moment, and refused to leave it unaddressed. A certified medical travel facilitator with a Master's in Business Communication and four years building THTC from the ground up, she brings together clinical coordination, cultural intelligence, and the kind of personal commitment that no platform or directory can replicate.

She leads every journey personally coordinating the surgeon, the transfer, the recovery, the call your family needs at midnight supported by a team built on the same standard of care she established from day one. Over 250 international patients have travelled to Colombia through THTC. Every one of them had Pilar's number.

The Invisible Hand · How it works

From your first message to the moment you fly home.

Five steps. One person coordinating all of them. This is what the invisible hand looks like in practice.

The sixth step
The sixth step is the one that stays.

Three weeks after you return home, Pilar follows up. Not a survey. Not an automated email. A personal message — to check on the protocol, answer any questions that have surfaced, and close the journey properly.

For complex care patients, this follow-up continues for as long as it needs to.
